Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide superbills (detailed receipts) that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan. Many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement, but coverage varies. If you’d like help navigating this, I’m happy to guide you through the process.

What will we discuss on the consultation call?

The consultation call is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation to see if we’re the right fit. We’ll briefly talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping for, I’ll share how I work and what sessions are like, and you’re welcome to ask any questions about the process, fees, or logistics. If it feels like a good match, we’ll discuss next steps. Iif not, I’m happy to offer referrals.

Do you only treat eating disorders?

Absolutely not! While many of my clients come in for eating or body image concerns, many are also dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and struggles with identity or self-esteem or life transitions. I treat the whole person, not just the symptoms.

What can I expect in sessions?

Our work will be a mix of insight, emotional processing, nervous system regulation, and practical tools. Some sessions may feel deep and healing, others may be focused on coping skills, mindset shifts, or problem-solving. We move at your pace—never pushing before you’re ready.

How often do we meet?

Most clients start with weekly sessions for consistency and momentum.
As you grow and stabilize, we may shift to biweekly or monthly check-ins. We will decide together when to decrease session frequency based on how much support you need and what works best for you.

Do you offer virtual or in-person therapy?

I currently offer virtual therapy for adults located anywhere in California.

Do you provide a Good Faith Estimate?

Yes. Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of psychotherapy services not using insurance. A Good Faith Estimate is available upon request and will be provided before services begin or when scheduling.
