Therapy for Trauma

Trauma changes how you feel, think, and move through the world.

Maybe you feel disconnected from yourself, on edge for no reason, or stuck in patterns you can’t explain. The world might feel foggy or unreal. Your emotions or your body may react before your brain can make sense of what’s happening. It’s exhausting to carry so much on your own.

And it’s even harder when the people around you don’t fully get it.
You might look “fine” on the outside while still battling every day to feel safe or normal. Trauma can make you feel isolated, even when you’re not alone.

Trauma therapy with me is different.

I won’t just ask “How does that make you feel?” and leave it there. Trauma lives in the body and the nervous system, so true healing has to include more than just talking. I help you gently reconnect with your body, process what happened at your pace, and create safety from the inside out.

My approach is integrative, evidence-based, and deeply compassionate. Depending on your needs, we may use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore and heal the parts of you that have been protecting or carrying pain. We may use attachment-focused therapy to heal relational wounds and rebuild trust and connection. I also integrate Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to rewrite the painful beliefs trauma left behind. Lastly, I incorporate somatic awareness and gentle body-based strategies like grounding and movement.

Trauma therapy isn’t about reliving the past—it’s about reclaiming your life.
